WHAT TIME ZONE DOES FORTRESS DISPLAY?

As you are a member  of the USA version of Fortress the time that the Fortress displays on your device is Pacific Standard Time (PST).

HOW DO I CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?

Are you sure you really want to cancel your account?

 

It’ll be a real shame to lose you.   We really value your membership.   Plus….Fortress provides the

cheapest, easiest and most comprehensive way to protect, secure and insure your device. There are some important points to remember prior to cancellation:

•   Once you cancel your account Fortress on your device will immediately stop working.

•   Once you cancel your account your device will no longer be protected, secured and insured by Fortress.

•   Once you cancel your account you will not be able to claim.

•   Once you cancel your account you will no longer be able to access your secure portal.

•   Once you cancel your account all your data will be irretrievable.

•   To cancel your account; please follow the sequence of steps below:

 

1.   Go to your secure portal at  www.yourfortress.com

2.   Go to the login page of the site.

3.   Login using the email address and password that you used when joining Fortress.

4.   Access the account section of your secure portal.

5.   Locate the Your Account console on the Account page.

6.   Click the “Cancel Account” button.

7.   Confirm that you want to cancel your account.

8.   You will receive an email confirming the cancellation of your account.

HOW DO I CHANGE DEVICE?

A member of Fortress? Replaced your device and want to continue using Fortress on your new device? No problems!

All you have to do is follow the below steps and Fortress will automatically migrate the insurance, your contacts etc to your new device.

 

1.   Install the Fortress app onto your new device.

2.   Sign in to Fortress using the email and password of the account you wish to migrate.

3.   Agree to the account update screen prompts that will appear.

4.   When requested enter your password to confirm the account update.

5.   Your account information and insurance policy will automatically migrate to the new phone. It's that simple!

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

If you decide you need to change your password; please follow these steps:

  1.   Go to your secure portal at wwyourfortress.com
  2.   Go to the login page of the
  3.   Login using the email address and password that you used when joining Fortress.
  4.   Access the account section of your secure po
  5.   Once you are on the account page, locate the “change password” consol
  6.   Enter your existing password
  7.   Enter your new password.
  8.   Click the “change password” button.
  9.   You will receive an email confirming the change of password.
  10.   Sign into the Fortress App on your device using your new password. There are few things to remember whilst changing your password:
  •   The password must be at least 8 characters in length and must have a least one capital letter, one number and one lower case letter otherwise the change will not process.
  •   We recommend that you choose a strong password—something containing both upper and lower-case letters, along with numbers and symbols.
  •   For security purposes changing your password can only occur in the Account section of your secure portal.
  •   Once your password has been changed you will need to sign back into Fortress on your device using the new password.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY EMAIL?

If you decide you need to change your email; please follow these steps:

1.   Go to your secure portal at www.yourfortress.com

2.   Go to the login page of the site.

3.   Login using the email address and password that you used when joining Fortress.

4.   Access the account section of your secure portal.

5.   Once you are on the account page, locate the “change email” console.

6.   Enter your existing email

7.   Enter your new email.

8.   Click the “change email” button.

9.   You will receive an email confirming the change of email.

10. Sign into the Fortress App on your device using your new email.

 

There are few things to remember whilst changing your password:

  1. For security purposes changing your email can only occur in the Account section of your secure portal.
  2. Once your email has been changed you will need to sign back into Fortress on your device using the new password.

FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD?

If you have forgotten your password. Please follow these simple and easy steps:

1.   Go to your secure portal at  www.yourfortress.com

2.   Go to the login page of the site.

3.   Click the “forgotten your password” link.

4.   This will result in an email being auto-generated for you.

5.   Send us the registered email, mobile number, IMEI/Unique ID & account number of your account.

6.   This information will be validated by the Fortress team

7.   Once validated, you will receive a password reminder to your registered email address.

FORGOTTEN YOUR EMAIL?

If you have forgotten your email. Please follow these simple and easy steps:

1.   Go to your secure portal at  www.yourfortress.com

2.   Go to the login page of the site.

3.   Click the “forgotten your email address” link.

4.   This will result in an email being auto-generated for you.

5.   Send us the registered mobile number, IMEI/Unique ID & Account Number of your account.

6.   This information will be validated by the Fortress team

7.   Once validated, you will receive an email reminder.

HOW DO I UPGRADE?

The only way you can upgrade is by using Fortress on your device.

We’ve tried to make it as quick and simple as possible whilst making sure that you are always secure whilst upgrading.

In order to upgrade you will need to purchase a PIN for the applicable membership tier from any

Fortress Authorized Stockist, Retailer, Dealer or Carrier.  Once you have the PIN:

 

  1. Open the Fortress App
  2. Click the menu tab in the top left hand corner of the Fortress App
  3. Select which membership tier you’d like to upgrade to.
  4. Enter the PIN for the
